Emily Motto is a Gallery Educator at the National Gallery and an award winning artist working with sculpture, installation and drawing. She studied at Central St Martins and the Ruskin School of Art. Her work has been exhibited internationally and was shortlisted for the Royal Society of Sculptors’ First Plinth Award 2025.
Colour mixing workshop: Sunday 30th Nov 10.30am - 12.00
We will be mixing our own colours using natural materials, and thinking about where colours come from and how paints have historically been made. Through this workshop we’ll come up with our own unique colours, find names for them, and use them in a painting together.
Chelsea Flower Show medal winner Laura Rose Mallows. Laura is a florist and artist inspired by the evolving nature of plants across the seasons, often incorporating swathes of moss or edible elements to her ambitious and beautiful floral displays.
‘Walking and Drawing Workshop’ where the children will be foraging, arranging and exploring the life cycle of plants - seed to seedling to flower to seed again!
